Useful information about temporary rentals
—The rental contract is signed in the rented apartment at the time of handing over the keys. We will send you the contract when the reservation is confirmed so that you can review it beforehand in case you have any questions.
—The house will be available from 12 noon, but if you need entry earlier, we will try to accommodate that. We ask you to notify us in advance of your proposed entry time so that we can organize the check in. If there are any changes, let us know in advance.
—We will wait for you at the apartment at the agreed time to sign the contract and handover the keys. In addition, we will provide you with all the information you need for your tenancy. The handover of the keys is done during the agency’s opening hours:
- Monday to Thursday: from 10:00 to 19:00 H
- Friday: from 9:30 to 15:00 H
- Outside these hours and on public holidays, the delivery of keys will involve an additional charge of 30 euros and an additional charge of 50 euros between 22h and 8h.
The apartments are provided in perfect condition and equipped with everything you need for your stay.
Pets are not allowed, except in exceptional cases authorised by the owner of the house.
Upon arrival at the accommodation, and following current security regulations, guests must show their passports or identity documents to the Short Rental Sitges representative. Without these documents access to the property will not be possible.
At the end of the contract, we will visit the apartment on the day of departure or the day before, depending on agency availability, to check the general condition of the property with you. The apartment must be vacated by 12:00 noon, but if you need to leave later, we can arrange this depending on the availability of the apartment.
The house must be left as you found it: clean, tidy and free of rubbish bags. Please, use the bins on the street to recycle.
The contract establishes the extra cleaning fee to be charged once the tenancy is over. The price is based on the number of rooms in the apartment. It will be detailed in the contract and will be deducted from the deposit when the tenancy ends.
–Loud music and parties are strictly forbidden. Please do not disturb your neighbours’ rest time. Also, avoid using noisy electrical appliances during the following hours:
At night from 23:00 to 9:00 and in the afternoon from 15:00 to 17:00.
—If the building or community where the rented dwelling is located has a communal pool, the hours of use and the rules of conduct in the facilities are to be respected.
—We ask you to take care of the house and its contents.
–Please respect the communal areas of the building, keeping them clear of rubbish and locking any access doors.
—It is important to monitor energy expenditure. We ask you to turn off the lights when you are not in the house and also the A/C or heating.
—If the property has an awning, it is important to close it up at night or in case of rain or storms or if the tenant is away from the house for a few days.
—In the event of a breakdown in the facilities or in an appliance, or in the event that a temporary lack of supply occurs, we will make every effort to resolve the incident. Such breakdowns do not imply financial compensation of any kind.
